Hey, you!

I am seriously so glad you are here. It can be scary to meet someone new - yes, even I still get butterflies in my stomach when I am meeting someone like you for the first time!

Kids, teens, and young adults find their way to my office for a lot of different reasons.

Maybe reading is really hard for you, and your parents are trying to better understand how you learn best.

Maybe you have been feeling different lately - more irritable, tired, down, empty, or anxious… and you are not quite sure what to do about it.

Or maybe you just want to learn a little more about yourself!

Whatever the reason - I want you to remember 3 things.

  1. You are not alone. Your family and I are here to walk through this with you.

  2. It is okay to feel nervous to meet me! Those nervous feelings will not last forever. If you want, we can play a game or do some coloring at the beginning as we get to know each other.

  3. YOU ARE AMAZING. You, with all the things you are good at and not-so-good at and your unique qualities, are a perfect you.

If you are like me, knowing what I am getting into helps me feel a little bit better. On this page are some pictures of the space we will meet in. If you have any questions, write them down & bring them with you so we can chat about them together. See ya soon!
